Nicco..
Chapter 3 is started... hopefully it will be finished by next weekend. I suspect it will be a long one, depends on if I put in everything I have in mind or not. We'll see...



Nicco:

Nicco is barely 19, this is early spring, the first crops are in so I'm thinking April. Nicco said he had turned 19 the month earlier so sometime in March. Tamas was born a little over a year after the strawberries came out so I'm thinking mid summer to early autumn for his birthday. He's nearly 17.

So really not that much difference, I think that Nicco is already an "old man" because of his solitary habits and probable lack of interaction with his age mates. For a medieval boy, he really is more useless than a girl, who at least could produce useful sons. I'm sure his family would have packed him off to a monastery as a child if there weren't Monastic Laws against it. So I'm sure that he's been unevenly socialized and probably identifies with older and lower class people more than his peers, consequently he's used to behaving like someone much older.

Nicco is approximately 5'10 and slender maybe 130 pounds... with rocks in his pockets XD He's nowhere near as thin as Kel(Josh's Journey also on IJ) but he's still on the "wee side" as Nayne would say. He has wavy blond hair, large brown eyes, a heart shaped face, blemish free skin, which in the Middle Ages is a REAL accomplishment, and a 75 watt smile(reasonably straight teeth, again an accomplishment but less said there the better). He is extremely intelligent, has an eye for detail and a fantastic memory. He in no way understands just how pretty he is because he is used to thinking of himself as crippled and useless.

Being totally blinded by a certain shiny red headed smith, he has yet to see how blinded said smith is by him. He is unused to being spoiled so sometimes comes off as stubborn and unfriendly, but he'll learn!

He is now learning how to laugh and enjoy life.. watch!
